I haven't been posting much lately and my photos that I want to post are backing up lol.. Here are a few from the past few weeks that I thought I'd share with you :)

A few nights ago, we drove up to Mt Charleston and took a few photos of the Oenothera flowering on the side of the road. They are very fragrant night blooming flowers, they go by the common name of Primrose..

A dying butterfly.. Talise tried everything she could to save this little guy that appeared to already be dead or close to it.. She even had it by the wings trying to get it to drink water..

We went cruising Saturday night and only saw one snake due to the full moon but we did go down to the marina and see other cool stuff..

Awesome shots, Steph! I love them all except the wolf spider/spider with babies. I wanna stomp on them.

I love the stamen shadows on the flowers. Very cool!
 
LOL my daughter was sooo excited to see those carp lol.. But she freaks over anything water related, be it water or snow.. They are like giant dull colored koi.. LOL

Lori, I wish you could've smelled those flowers, they are so fragrant..
