Went road cruising last night and didn't see any live snakes, but I did see this guy... Well Aiyana saw it and pointed it out to me..

I picked him up and was holding him, just ready to take a pic, but my neighbor jacked him from me.. So heres my neighbor Josh holding him.. Keep in mind that Josh is about 6'4, so those are not small hands..

He's like a brother to me :)

And the night before, I went cruising up to Cold Creek, NV and didn't see anything but DOR and this close to death Crotalus.. We are thinking so far that it is a Crotalus mitchellii stephensi, anyone know for sure?

She was happy she got to touch the rattlesnake.. She told me later on the way home "Mom when I grow up I hope I am like you and get to play with rattlesnakes" LOL

Well.. This guy has been positively identified as a Crotalus mitchellii stephensi...
Yay!!! My friend even guessed the area where I found it :) He keyed it by the number of scales above the rostral scale.. ;)
