Bathing?

Should a Corn be bathed or offered a chance to swim every so often? If so, how does one approach such a task?

Cheers,
Jason

Try a search on this forum on bathing, there have been numerous posts about it :)

I don't bath either. Occassionally I will wipe off a dirty snake with a wet paper towel.

What to do

You should always have a water dish in your snakes habitat.
This dish should be large enough for you snake to fit in, completely.
This helps humidity and gives the snake a chance to soak when it wants to cool off or hydrate before a shed.
As far as taking a snake out just to bathe it. Not neccessary.

Its not really neccessary to bath your snake, but I bath all my snakes once a month because I like to watch them swim (as long as they like) and when ever one of them has a bad shed.

Thanks

Alex

I give my adults baths every few months. I find it assists with sheds and DEFINITELY loosens up any poo stuck in the old GI tube- be prepared

I've owned corns for 5 years now and don't think I've had a problemed shed but maybe once, my ball python, on the other hand, is lucky if she has a good shed every other time. She's in the high humidity tank too... PIMA

My Bp had truble shedding, but not since i put a second water bowl over the heatmat when she is shedding.
