Hello!

have you ever use fimo for make hides? I have some fimo at home that I don't use and I'm thinking to use it to make some hides, but I don't know it is ok or can be dangerous for the snake.
fimo is made out of PVC and it is toxic before is broil in an oven, but I don't know it is ok after it.

Thenx :)

Here's an article from Wikipedia on FIMO.

For Americans that may be familiar with the product "Its main U.S. competitor is the American brand Sculpey."

Also from the article:

"FIMO is conform to the European Standard EN 71 part 5 and bears the ACMI-Seal AP "non toxic"."

I just made a polymer clay hide for one of my snakes. I need to finish it with something though, 'cause I etched a pattern into it and I don't want to end up scrubbing poop out with a toothbrush.
