temperatue of thermostat???

I'd ignore any settings on the stat itself - the heat output will differ depending on the size and make of the UTH (heat mat) that you use with it and the substrate you use. Set it up for yourself.

You need to measure the temp at the same place that you should have the thermostat probe - inside the tank at ground level, at the warm end, immediately above the heat mat. Adjust the dial on the thermostat until the temp in the tank stays around 85-88 degrees F (30-31 degrees C).
