I was told by a few people that the biggest tank I would need for whiskey would be 20 gal at full grown.. Is that true.. would he be ok in a 20 gal? I dont want a huge tank for him if I dont need it.. If I need bigger I will get bigger.. I want him to be comfortable.. I know he is fine in his 10 gal for awhile he is only 5 wks old... so he will be fine... but once he gets bigger what will be a comfortable size tank for him?

i was always told that when they are fully grown they go in to a 30gal tank. Or one were at least half of there body can lie straight. How true this is i'm not sure but thats what i have been told. Hope it helps.

Be careful when saying 20G, If your going to put him in one make sure you get a 20G LONG tank. You can buy the kits for reptiles, or just by itself. 20G may be a little small for an adult, by adult i mean a 5 or 6 year old corn not just breeding size. I would just buy a 30G long tank, he will have much more space and you can put decor in their to make his cage look to your liking.

all my adults are in 55 gallon tanks, but that is excessive. a 33 gallon is fine for an adult corn. i have my juvenile ball python in a 33 gallon tank right now, and i think that will be fine for her into adulthood as well.

I find it interesting how you say you don't want to buy a bigger tank if you don't "need" it. Well by that logic you don't really need the snake either :p Sorry just messing around, but what I mean to say is if you're going to go for it why go for the minimum? You should always provide as much as your means can.
