Sculpey Hides/ Painting Help

I want to makes some hides out of sculpey, from what i know its non-toxic to snakes (correct me if im wrong) but would paint be toxic? If it says non-toxic should it be ok for a snake?
 
If it says non-toxic it should be ok for your snake. However, you'd probably want to put some sealant on it, and let that air out for a week or so (make sure it doesn't still smell like the sealant or paint) and it should be safe to put in with your snake. :)
