I guess I should start one of these for Cornwallis :) Only one picture for now, from when we weighed him before his first feed. Here's the wee lad, a mere 6 grams in weight...I LOVE that marking on the back of his head:

He (or she, I suspect it's female but am probably wrong) is very beautiful and calmer than I would expect, for a hatchling. A little nervous when being picked up, but once he's out he's pretty fine. I expected him to bury himself when we put him back but he didn't, just went about his business. I'll be glad when he's bigger and we can handle him with more confidence. We only do it for brief periods now because he's a baby.
 
Cornwallis had his first shed with us today! It was great, came off all in one piece and everything. To celebrate, I thought I'd post some before-and-afters. He weighs about 11-12 grams now and eats like a champ...he even ate in deep blue this week :)

I can't believe how different he looks now :) He'll be a year old in August, and I hope he gets as big as some of the monsters I've seen on here. He's an absolute doll, too. He's so gentle, and the only creatures he shows aggression towards are the mice he eats- he doesn't seem to care that they're already dead. He's a bottomless pit, too. He will eat in blue, out of blue, at any time of the day or year...he'd eat until he exploded if we let him.

Couldn't ask for a better first snake!
