I spent the day helping Jen with her booth (ghost house corns) and had a lot of fun. I was supprised how many people showed up. There was not as much variety in corn morphs as there was last year :(, but there was one breeder who had several dwarf species of boa that I really had to restrain from. I was not suppose to come home with anything other than frozen feeders and some ASFs, which Jen was so kind and gave me a trio for helping her with the booth.
Well at the begining of the show I saw a beautiful spider ball for a great deal that would go wonderfully with my lemon pastel. I was sure that she would go fast. Come the end of the show she was still there, a little hidden under the others but I found her. I spent some time talking to the breeder and the little thing was just an angel, eating regularly and not picky about what she ate. I didnt take any cash with me so I would be even more less likely to come home with another snake, and the lady tells me "oh we take cards" that was it she had to come home with me lol.
Here are some pics of her and the ASFs I got from Jen. The little girl is not named yet and am up for suggestions on a name. I would like a name that is related to or means spider. I have thought about Arachne but it just doesnt seem to fit her
Thanks and hope you enjoy

The male ASF looks better! I think you have saved him from a horrible fate from a cage mate.
That BP is so cool. Do you remember the breeders name? Not that I am tempted (yeah right) to get one or anything LOL
I have yet to take a pic of my new acquisition. But its name is Dwayne

The male has been very tolerant in letting me doctor him and I have noticed that the female has been helping him clean it. It should heal just fine. I think Dwayne is a great name lol. I thought of Charlotte too but it doesnt fit and to common. A lady I know has a pair of spiders and they are MJ and Peter lol from spider man.

I think I am going to have to get them another wheel, all three of them are always on it. lol

Lovely BP, Cassie! I can't think of a name, though.. And it's nice to know that there's a reason behind the big red patch on that male ASF's butt... =)

I saw the people with the dwarf BCIs, too. Those Hogg Islands were gorgeous. It took all kinds of willpower to resist them... Lol. Maybe next year... It was nice to meet you, by the way. =)

NICE, Cassie! She's beautiful.

The name that comes to mind for her... Ariadne (air-ee-add-knee). Just what I come up with... LOL.

I don't know if you are a LOTR fan...but if I was going with a spider theme name I'd say Shelob. (lob being the archaic english word for spider)
