Orange Isabel Isle ground boa...

Tula_Montage

It's Jager time!
Berlingo is getting more and more colourful as he gets bigger and older. He used to be stark black and cream...

Tonight he was in a creamy and orange light phase. I haven't seen his black dark phases in a while...

He is SO beautiful Elle! I love that orange he has coming in!

The one I got from Crutchfield - he looks pretty "dull" right now, but they anticipate he should color up nicely as he grows. Will be posting some pics later this evening.

You will have to excuse the crappy pic I took of him...I only took a quick one before putting him in his new home. Will get more once he is settled in. (hopefully outside where I can use my "real" camera with macro!).

Do you think Berlingo will color up even more as he gets older??

Oh I don't doubt your photography skills for a moment!

I don't have any idea what he will look like. Although something like this would be wonderful ;)

Thanks Fred! I'm slightly annoyed because I hate the colour orange and I wanted a stark black and white Isabel (thus why I paid stupid amounts for him from a horrible seller who at the same time sold me a sickly Minerva then disapeared off the face of the earth). But his colour has really grown on me and I can't wait to see what he will end up like :)

Wow! I'm with Fred on this one. I can't believe that is the same snake. How old is he now, and when will he mature?

Keep the photos coming! He's a handsome fellow in his new duds :)

He is CB 07 as far as I am aware. I have had him since December 08 and he has grown and changed so much with me. A few more years for him to fully mature. I really take my time growing on candoia. They need a lot less food than other boas of a relative size due to their extremely slow motabolism. They tend to pee a lot though lol... Oh and they only shed every 3 months or thereabouts. Madness!

He is a gorgeous boy! I love his orange blotches!

Thanks dude :)

Wow Elle you seriously have the most amazing boas I have ever seen and that one is no exception:)

Thank you :) I just hope I have many long years left with my boas. I would be absolutely crushed if any of them showed IBD symptoms after Clementines demise :(
