Central Florida Zoo Pictures!

RobbiesCornField

Bring it on.
Yay, picture time!!!! After finally going through and editing the almost 200 pictures I took, I deemed just over 100 of them fit for forum viewing. Some towards the end will be of the same reptiles earlier on, as they had moved since our early on visit to the herp area, and allowed better shots. For any Florida people, or potential Florida visitors, interested, the zoo's website is http://www.centralfloridazoo.org . Time for the pictures!!!! Please refrain from replying until I've posted all the photos. It's going to take several posts!

Apparently, there's a really fun obstacle course with zip lines and everything. Unfortunately, it was $30/ea with zoo admission. Needless to say, we passed on that.

They have a detention pond that provides a habitat for wild animals that happen to wander in. This little booger was the only gator we saw in there.

Okay, this picture was actually an accident. The top of this enclosure had a blue "tint" film thing with a message on it. The flash was above the tint line, and turned everything blue (except the snake). I thought it turned out kind of cool for being an accident!!

Awesome pictures, Robbie! It looks like a fun place to go. Thanks for sharing with us! :)

VERY KEWL PICS, Robbie!!! Thank you for sharing them with us.

That "bug" with the junk on its back looks a lot like an antlion... but antlions don't paste things to their backs... that I know of. Maybe a damsel fly nymph or something like that.

I REALLY gravitate to all the snakey pics... including the accident one.

And the Mambas... oooooohhhh! I love Mambas!

I really think that accident pic is one of my favorites from the whole day.
