Tara and I will be doing an outreach event this coming Friday. My school is hosting a tailgate/football kick off party for the first home game, and it is largely sponsored by the science department. We are going to be taking a bunch of our animals over to school and setting them up-- some for handling, some just to look at.
I have photos of a variety of snakes and other herps that we own to use on our informational boards we will be making. We want to make two boards... one on common pet species, which we have covered, and the other on Maryland native wildlife. I have a few good photos for this one, but would like some additional photos of animals we do not currently keep. If anyone can help us out, I would greatly appreciate it, and will cite your name, business name, or website name, whatever you prefer.
The following are needed:
- Copperhead
- Diamondback Terrapin
- Black Rat Snake (juvenile and adult)
- Corn snake (naturalistic/wild type)
- Eastern kingsnake
- Common Watersnake
- Ringneck Snake
- Eastern Garter Snake
We would like photos of these with natural backgrounds, preferably, but in tank, aspen shots will work too, so long as they are focused. If you have photos of these that you would not mind me using, please email them to my school address with your name or citation information attached. School email is [email protected].
Many thanks in advance-- I know there are some excellent photographers on here!
