Our new puppy!

jesserca

I may need snake rehab.
This is Pontiac our newest addition to the fam. He is my first AKC registered dog, he is an Alaskan Malamute. Camaro (our shepherd mix) was very unfriendly at first, but now they are the best of friends!

Oh yeah his father is about 115lbs. He is only 3 months old and as tall as our other pooch!

Ohh wow he's handsome! And I can tell he's going to be BIG. Do you have any special plans for him?

Cuuute! I grew up with a husky, malamute, other dog mix. No where near as big as a malamute would get because of the other mixes in her, but she was great.

When I used to work in grooming we had a couple massive, maHOOSIVE, malamutes that came in. Their vet records put them at around 140! They were the kindest, sweetest, softest dogs! A little whiney/howly/talkative but what do you expect from malamutes.

Malamutes have always been my favorite Nordic dog. He's going to be beautiful when he's all grown up. Can't wait to see progression pics of him. Congrats!

We're actually looking into having him do what we was bred to do, pull a sled! Here in Missouri we don't see alot of snow but we can always use carts. Of course the actual pulling won't start for a little while, right now we're working on sit and don't pee on the hardwood. :D

I love the Nordic breeds! I don't have what it takes to give them the amount of exercise they need, so I like to admire other people's Nordic puppers.

It's hard to think that your puppy is twice the size of my fully grown dog LOL.

I love malamutes, although I think Charles would feel a little inferior compared to one ;)
