My 'lil herper!

Carinata

Ever Evolving Exotics
I have my half brother Brasen trained. He is a true herper! Start 'em young. He learns about everything his big brother does. Breeding, feeding, husbandry. Sure he only takes in a little bit buthe can identify most common garden snakes. His favorites are "orange" corn snakes and teh Taiwan beauty. Just some herping pics

Well, David........what a charming, endearing thread. You can tell little brother loves his big brother.
I never had a brother, and always wanted one.

You two are so cute David herping is something he hopefully will always enjoy and will have you to thank for. Now about you skipping socks.....tsk tsk your shoes will be humming in a few days and chics don't dig stinky feet. Ankle socks my friend;)

LOL Danielle. Those are my old herping shoes. My dad makes me wear those when I herp. Yes one times I did have very stinky feet after wearing no socks. I forgot so I put cat pee smell remover on them! Good as new!

on the shoes, i have heard that putting kitty litter in nilon socks and stuffing them in the shoes really helps the smell....

Its great that your getting him hooked on herping!!! My brother in law did that for me.....

That's great that you are an encouraging older brother, and congrats on the find. I can tell your little brother really looks up to you, and that's great he's already learning a lot.

Kudos to you David!!!

That is too cute! He reminds me of my nephew, he has the same look and smile as your brother in the second picture. My nephew likes my snakes too and always wants to see mine.

It's nice to start them young but make sure he knows not to go up to any he sees in the wild, you don't want him grabbing anything venomous (I'm sure you told him this but just in case).

I told him if he sees any snake in the back yard or while he is outside to do get daddy and to have daddy call me! LOL

I don't know David, I think your brother is going to be a lot better looking than you.
