I thought the miniature sheep thread was for real, until I opened it... LOL
The reason I thought it was real, well I've been looking at these lately.
These little guys are really taking my fancy...

Cute or what.....

Very cute!

I worked with a woman, about 20 years ago, that had a pet pot belly pig named Bacon. It was apparently very smart and could do several tricks. It was not very small, but was kinda neat.

my buddy has a pet pot belly. lol. i was friends with him for 2 years and he never said anything, and one day i was helping him work on his dads truck and his dad opened up the house and he came out to go to the bathroom. i guess he doesnt leave his parents room much just to come out and hang out and go to the bathroom.

theyre really smart animals. he has 3 pit bulls also and they are really smart and trained well. but the pig knows how to do more tricks and is more obedient. he also is the best wrestler out of the animals. he loves wrestling with the dogs.

i think having a mini pig would be awesome. theyre smart, pigs are very clean animals, thus some people dont think so. and they put a smile on your face.

they are very smart and easy to train and they are very clean.....
THESE ARE NOT POT BELLIED PIGS....
Here's the site I've been looking at....
http://www.littlepigfarm.co.uk/
It appears that some of them do stay quite small, but not as small as the pictures suggest....
Would make a great alternative to the usual house pets....
Though in the UK you need a farm animal movement order, off DEFRA, to walk them!!

I saw an Animal Planet show, where someone had this miniature pig. I forget what the exact type of pig it was, but they stayed around 10-15lbs I believe. The one drawback was the price though, this particular "breed" ran for like 5g's. I think a pig would be a really cool pet though, they seem incredibly smart and obedient.

Very interesting, Mike. I had always read about how intelligent and clean pigs normally were, in general.
This little micro size is adorable.
