whoo hoo!!
so my boyfriend is the best in the world. he bought me an exoterra viv! -and- found me a stand for it, AND (the biggest deal in the world) did all the heavy lifting and work involved without a single grumble. lol...he usually referrs to the snake as 'her inanimate object' :nope:
anyway. a local pet store had one on display, and one of the front panels got cracked. he used his inside connections and *POOF* I've got a huge, beautiful viv that i never really thought i could afford. I've got it sitting on a wooden chest that came from his parents storage shed.
so that means i need more equipment...which works out. i was in the process of getting a new thermostat and digital thermo/hydrometers, so i just added a proper sized uth to the order (kathy love's book is on the way too...yay!)
so...when all is said and done...i will have an empty 15gal viv thats all set up and ready to go...lol
I used a bead of clear silicone on the inside and outside of the door that cracked, and now that its dry the whole thing is good as new.
i still cant belive my luck! the only issue is that even though i seem to be getting more tanks into my space, the space doesnt seem to be getting any bigger...whats with that?! lol...no wonder i've been hinting that i think we should move to a two bedroom apartment soon...:duck:
