Cleaning wood cage furniture

Shaky

Ought to know better
I inherited some very nice grapevine which had been used by Beardies. I need to clean it extra thoroughly. Is bleach recommended or will simply baking it do the trick?

Id scrub the wood with 50/50 bleach and water. Do this several times making sure to get the water into all the cracks. Then bake it until absolutely dried.

This way the heat will kill anything that the bleach misses!

this is the "recipe" i use for cleaning my my tank and its contents...
take some hot water, add some washing up liquid to make it nice and foamy :) then a tough of strong bleech to kill any harmful bacteria. wash it with that, then was it with water until you can no longer smell the bleech/washing up liquid...
then leave to dry :) of you could always bake dry
