Snake Growth?

At what rate do snakes grow?
I understand theres many factors that would influence but on a average what do they grow? also what is a average length at hatching?

12 inches at hatching is common. I had a runt from a small egg once. It measured 10 inches, and that's the same length as the smallest that Bill Love has measured.

Rule of thumb is growth doubles hatchling length in the first year. At the end of the second year, length is roughly triple the hatchling length. After that, growth slows down. Hope this helps.

Paulh is correct. This may vary a little depending on how you feed your snake. Power feeding will grow your snake faster. By this I mean feeding your snake constantly. This practice is not encouraged because it is not healthy for your snake. I have a Jun. 2002 that was 12" when I got him and he is now 36". This is about average growth for a corn.
