This is Jewel, she laid 35 eggs in one clutch last year. There are 26 in this clutch so far and it looks like there are a few more coming.

She was breed to a Sunglow last year. This year I breed her to another Sunglow. I have had some from this crossing turn out exceptional in my opinion.

Hi Tim,
Great photo, congrats.
I was wondering, how many of the 35 eggs that you got last year hatched?
Jimmy C.

All 35 hatched, I've had her since 1992, she laid 19 eggs in 1995 (her first year) and has laid over 20 eggs every year since. I've had two years where she had one egg that the neonate died in the egg. Other than those two years every egg she's laid has hatched. She's a good one in my book.

Wow!!!
That is a very high fertility rate and hatching rate!! That is one nice female!!! I bet she loves laying her babies out for you!

Like Simon said " WOW!!!",
You are doing the right things for sure. Congrats!! She is such a beautiful snake. Do you have photo's of the Dad? I would love to see them and then the babies when they hatch.
Thanks for sharing,
Jimmy C.
