Yeah, what Terri said

Although, everytime I put Jormungand back in his tank after handling I always drop him in the water bowl. Sometimes he sits there for a while, sometimes he doesn't. His first shed didn't go so well, so I'm extra careful about keeping him hydrated and the humidity in his tank up. I spray the tank with a mister every day too. His second shed went fine :)

If they want to soak they soak themselves. Just make sure they have a water dish large enough to soak in if they so desire.
If they aren't having shed problems then there is no need to soak them. My opinon anyway.
