Took this shot during last night's sunset at an artesian well...

Black Mountain Peak

This shot is looking southeast toward the Inyo/White Mountains which form the border between California and Nevada.

That is really amazing. I can never come up with appropriate superlatives for your photography.

As always... Gorgeous...!!! :) BTW love the new avatar.. Can I see it bigger on your blog??

This is a shot of me taking a shot out at the Eureka Sand Dunes in Death Valley. My good friend John Atwood took this photo, and gave me permission to use it.

You've a real talent for photography...

I'd differ on the camera not making a difference - from what I have seen you always get a better picture with a film camera than you do a digital - shots from a SLR just seem so alive in comparison to DSLRs

I should see if I can get my camera repaired *sigh* - it used to take some wonderful shots but I cant get it to co-operate at the moment

What I meant was that anyone can take a good picture with a half decent camera if they understand composition and exposure values. You don't *need* an expensive camera to take good photos.

And with film...it depends more on your lenses and type of film than anything else...
