High Orange Albino Bull Snake?

Patients took over asylum
Beautiful very high orange albino bull snake. Female, 5 feet long, very tame. Handled every day and loves it, never struck. Asking a rehome fee of $200. This includes a 55 gallon tank, lights, bedding, screen top, screen clips, and climbing / decorations. Will trade for a black 55 gallon tank that holds water and black stand. Please call me at 303-875-9310 if you would like to see pics. Thank you, Matt.

Found this on Craigslist today. I've seen only one bull snake and I only remember that I was afraid of it because at the time, the biggest snake I'd been around was a garter. I'm interested in seeing what this snake would look like. Unfortunately there are no pictures attached. I imagine something like a tangerine leopard gecko for some reason. Seeing as I know nothing about them, a Google image search didn't tell me much. I'm assuming albino doesn't mean white for bulls. So it either has to be yellow, orange, or red?

Do you think $200 would be a good price for it? Not that I'm thinking about getting it. I have enough snakes for the moment.

200$ strikes me as expensive'ish, but if you want her, and you can afford it... the price is irrelevant. Also, I have no idea what are the rates like over where you live.
Good luck :)

If it were me, I'd offer a little less; maybe $175. They are including a lot of extra stuff that you'd otherwise have to buy (if you don't already have it) so that could be a plus. I'd definitely want to see some photos first though. I love bullsnakes, so that factors in as well.

I don't think $200 is unreasonable for a tame adult female high orange albino bullsnake that comes with a complete set up. If I had the opportunity, I'd be all over it. There are bullsnake morphs that cost that much as hatchlings.

On a personal and maybe not so welcome note, it seems like you already have a full apartment and other issues to consider before even looking at getting another animal. Sorry if that's offensive, but reading your other posts, I just think you need to focus on maintaining balance in your life, not adding more to it.

dionythicus, I wasn't planning on getting her. I was interested in knowing what she looked like though. The only thing I'll be adding to my household in the next few months will be maggot (which I grow every summer for a few of my fish), mosquito larva, and hopefully bigger tanks for the fish I all ready have.

I would consider getting her for somewhere here if they pay the cost of shipping. The tank setup would be an optional delivery and would be deducted out of price if not wanted. Other than that, this snake will not be coming to my house.

On the plus side, I may have a home for a few of my guinea pig rescues. I'm happy about that. They're cute, but I need room for other rescues.

I totally missed the last part of your first post when you did say you weren't going to be getting it. D'oh! My bad, sorry.

I hope you get your guinea pig rescue a great home. I love rats and mice, but hamsters, gerbils and guinea pigs haven't been good to me. They're sooo cute and I love their little noises.

Totally off subject, but do you own that Hearse in your avatar? I've been wanting one for the past year. It's so pretty! Of course, with my favorite color being blue, I say it would look better blue. I'm looking to get a 67 Cadillac Superior, three way. Pretty Pretty Pretty.

Back to subject, tricksterpup is that an albino or a high orange albino? It's got such a pretty head. Looks like a sweet snake too.

Do you think I should inquire just for the pictures?

Yep, she's ours. '92 Caddy Superior. All original. She does have a blue interior. We're only the second owners, she came from a local funeral home. The only thing missing are the Bier pins, but we did find a spare coffin key in the glove compartment. Her name is Diana, aka Lady Die. Our plates read URN IT. Our schtick is "Brimstone's Crematorium and Funeral Parlor", with my husband being Faron Brimstone and I'm Helen Brimstone, in a very southern accent so it sounds like Fire and Brimstone and Hell and Brimstone. We've been "urning" your business since 1913, don't get burnt by the competition. LOL I wish Diana was a three way, but side loaders are really hard to come by anymore. I would just about kill or die to get my hands on a carved hearse out of the 20's or 30's >swoons< or a horse drawn hearse >faints<. We fully plan to collect hearses and would like to open a hearse museum someday.

When I started reading your response I was like "Wait... the snake has a blue interior? Huh?". Then I remembered what I'd said last time I'd written. If/when I get a Hearse, it will be my first ever car. They're better than finding a $300 corn snake morph free in the wild and taking it home to find it's going to lay more $300 morphs for free. If you get what I'm saying. Lol.

I wouldn't advise a hearse as a primary driving vehicle. Its a gas guzzler, difficult to find parking, the visibility out the sides and back isn't great and you'll be lucky to find one that doesn't need work done on it. Make it your second car, get something reliable and affordable first. lol

I got this guy as an Albino but more i looked into it, this go looks to be what they call a Sunglow morph.
Personally I would look around, I personally would not buy a snake of that quality from Craigslist.
