I'm sorry you lost your father so young. Not like any time's a good time, but- you're way too young.

Nothing in the world better than a great father. Now the monkey is on your back, you have a whole life time to make him proud.

thanx.the good thing is that all thru my teens and some of my adult years my dad was retired(he was P.R.P.D.) so i got to spend a lot of time with him, many fishing, camping and road trips....lots of good memories.

Thats true lol....but i think im half way there being that i went to college( graduated) and im also a VetTech....next vet school, family...etc...hopefully.

I know how you are feeling. My Mom lost a short battle with ovarian cancer 2 years ago Feb 10th and sometimes I think she is still here. I dream about her almost every night..like she is talking to me. And it didn't hit me for a while either. I was there with her when she took her last breath so I think it made it easier for me. We were both lucky to have them while they were here!! And we definitely have angels on our shoulders now with them!

Thanx...sorry to hear about ur mom...i was also there for my father in his last moments..it happened the way he wanted..he was surrounded by family and not artificial life machines.....its weird cuz i have dreams like that about my father and i usually get them when i go thru some ruff times....i guess no matter wat their our parents and they will be there for us when we need them.....i just hope he knows how much he is missed.

Just wanted to say I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. My mother is going in on monday to have a bypass done. She has kidney issues as well (30% function) and all too often one complicates the other...(most heart procedures require chemicals in your system, which can put a large strain on the kidneys. no problem if they're healthy but if not...)
It sounds like you have a very loving family. ((hugs)) thoughts are with you.
