QT's set up!

Just got the QT's set up for our two incoming snakes for the week. We arranged to trade a yearling male fire corn for the Dumeril's boa we have that won't switch to f/t. Capt Joe is getting the Dum, and we get one of his male hold-backs, a fire that originally came from Rich Z. Lovely little chap... he's arriving tomorrow. He'll be going into a 10 gallon until our new rack is ready later this spring.

Then on Wednesday, when I take the Dum to UPS to ship her out, Trent is sending us his Vietnamese Blue Beauty gal. She was part of a pair in which the male did not survive and is now surplus for him, so I picked him up for Tara. Got a nice 29 gallon viv waiting for her!

We'll be sure to post pics when they arrive, though most of you have probably seen these two in the past. :)

Finally taking the step into Asian rats! Thats awesome! I love VBB's! I'll be picking mine up in August!

I'm so glad that something positive was able to come from Kylar's passing!! I think I saw the post about you guys looking at a VBB the day after he died. I immediately informed Trent to contact you to see if you'd be interested in taking Devana, as I knew she was no longer needed in our plans. I know you two will enjoy her!! They are really amazing snakes.

Thanks, Hallie. We are pretty excited to be able to give a good home to one! I am surfing the net right now, looking for things to deck out her tank with. :) I spent some time examining the set up that the local herp store has for their adult. She is about 6' long- a very large specimen!

6' is not big for these guys. Contact Amy Zerkle. She is the breeder and the best in the US with Asian rats.
