your lucky i have been looking in the wild for a corn for the past 2 months

I kept him. The day after I found him, I offered a thawed pinky and he took it right away. That's pretty much what made me decide.

On a 1/4 mile stretch of road in front of my house, I've seen 5 other corns since then - all dead :(

What a lucky find~!
I once found a little black snake on my way to the bus stop when I was 5 years old. When I went to pick it up it sped away like lightning. No clue what kind of snake it was but it would sure be nice to find a corn! Especially one as gorgeous as you found. Have you named him/her yet?

brilliant pic's, lovely snake. I have never seen a snake in the wild ever, don't suppose I will, your so lucky.

Lynn, aren't there any native snakes in your area? Or did you just mean wild corns? I won't see any wild corns in my area either, but I did see some Eastern Ribbons running around my yard last weekend.

Hey, Great photo's!!!!! Great Snake!!!!! GREAT Find!!!!!!!

I guess Living in Orlando it's a better bet that you would find a beautiful Corn Snake. Here in Toronto I dont think I'll be so lucky.:D
Have you had it checked out by a Rep. Vet or at least on it in a quarantine tank?
He is beautiful. Good luck with him/her

It must be nice to be able to keep a wild caught snake! It's illegal in Tennessee! I guess that's why I see so many of them...they know I can't get them :p What a beautiful snake you found! Good luck with him/her, and be certain to have it checked out by a vet!
