Compressed coconut husk is AMAZING for just starting seeds

Sticking To The Ceiling
So about two weeks ago I bought a brick of Eco Earth to use whenever my corn went into blue. Well, I needed to use it about a week ago. Around the same time I planted a few assorted wild flower seeds in some of the expanded, moist coconut husk in plastic cups. I was going to put some seeds in 10 cups with just the coconut husk, just top soil/potting soil, and a mix of the two. Well, I decided against that since I couldn't find the soil, and pretty much forgot about the seeds I planted.

Those ten cups are sitting next to my corn's viv right now, and I happened to look at the cups and about half of them have seedlings sprouting! :dancer: It's also funny because I was reading a few threads about people going through the mating-laying-pipping process!

I told my dad about this just now, and we both agreed to get some more bricks and to give my seedlings a little bit of Miracle Gro tomorrow. I was expecting seedlings in about a MONTH, if at all! XD
