Ok, so this morning I went and checked on our leapord geckos and their appears to be an egg in the cage? We have only rescued them about 3 weeks ago. I have no idea how to take care of eggs as we do not breed our animals. What should I do with it...help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a corn snake forum, so you may not get a lot of advice on leopard geckos. If you feel you absolutely aren't prepared for incubating / hatching an egg, you can always put it in the freezer.

Thanks Drew I thought it couldn't hurt to ask :( We rescue all reptiles and I was just in shock when I saw the egg. Thank you for any help!

Personally, I would just freeze it. If you just rescued them, then it seems like alot to take on to try to incubate and raise a supprise young.

You know they breed now, so perhaps when your ready you could try again in the future. If you need more information on leo egg care I did a quick google and found some (Looks to be) useful sites. :)

Right, if you decide not to incubate the eggs, then freeze them for 24 hours before you throw them away. Or feed them to an appropriate sized snake!

I'm pretty sure leos shouldn't be kept in the same cage unless you're planning on breeding them. I would separate them asap.
