Question to all the gamers out there.

I've been searching for a game for years that I used to play as a kid, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. It was a Kirby game with an adventure mode where you would fly around to different levels and stuff. I specifically remember the yellow blocks with stars on them that blocked off new future levels until you beat the current ones. Also, my sister specifically remembers a DRAW shooting game where you had to beat your opponent. Does anyone recognize this game from the old days? I can't remember what system it was for, either NES or SNES or something along those lines. If anyone knows this game you may possibly be my new hero. Lol.
