Took a cruise with my friend John to Old Faithful last night. We thought it was about time to play with a rattlesnake, so we went to one of my favorite Panamint cruising roads. As luck would have it, we found 3 juvenile Panamint Rattlesnakes (Crotalus stephensi)!

All three of these little ones were less than a year old, and try as they were...couldn't even make a buzz with their tiny little 2 button tails. They sure were cute!

Gorgeous snakes and awesome photography. Really love that last shot - someone wanted to "try" to show you who was boss!
 
Dang, those are some mean looking dudes!!!

I do find their wide set eyes kind of comical though...
