Spider Finally Molted!

My tarantula shed for the first time in my possession! I know this isn't really worth a thread but I'm excited! I knew s/he had been looking dull. You should see the amount of pink on s/him now. I even got the molt while it was still damp. Spider must have just come out of it. It explains why I couldn't get s/him to eat.

The fangs are still nice and shiny. Kinda made me afraid to touch it even though I knew it was a molt and not the actual spider. Here's some pictures and I'll get pictures of my newly shed spider in the morning when I have natural light. I also adjusted the second and third pictures to bring out a little bit of the color. Better pics tomorrow promise!

Forgot the pictures. Lol

Yeah, I hit the wrong button because my Velcro kitty was on me. And the puppy was trying to eat her tail.

I think I'll probably end up keeping all the molts and making a frame of progression. It's awesome.

Thanks. S/he is still really soft I think but looking oh so pretty. I forgot to take pictures so I'll do that in the morning. And the molt hardened up. Now I just have to remember which container has the biting spider and which is just a skin. Lol
