People have been dying from cancer and other ailments for thousands of years. Its not a new disease. Dirk Benedict (Battlestar Galactica and the A-Team) wrote a book about macrobiotics and his fight with prostate cancer. He says that by basically starving the cancer out of your body it will die. He reached a point where he was eating berries and twigs. The cancer went away, but he wasn't exactly healthier for it. Now he is, I guess. I've always believed that truly organic foods are best, but we can't avoid the toxins in the air, ground and everywhere else unless we live in a bubble.
