OK I have a question Caedan likes being stubborn. He stopped eating in may then would only take pre killed. After having to kill off and freeze a colony I decided to thaw one and see if he would take it. He did no problem. But when I try to give him one of the mice I got from rodent pro he flat out refuses it. The mice don't have a smell to them so I don't think that they are bad. He is about to shed so I am not sure if that is the problem though he has eaten and then shed the next day in the past. My other two sub adults have no problem with the mice from rodent pro. I am starting to think Caedan just likes fresh over what might have been sitting in the freezer for a while.
The mice from rodent pro are kept in vacuum packed bags in the freezer. Hardly anything else goes in my freezer except for the occasional frozen food item.
