another bloodred update

Well, its been a week now on the baytril-and nothing. He's still mouth gaping when laying still, makes slight popping noises when held, is very active, and has eaten every meal given to him without a regurge.

I'm starting to think his weird breathing is caused by his pushed-in nose. Could this possibly go away with his next shed?

Any other suggestions as to what to try?

I have a snake that makes all sorts of clicking noises before shedding, and these go almost completely away after shedding. I have no idea why.

If he is eating, and acting healthy, and fecals test fine, then I would adopt a watch-and-wait approach, although I am happy to stand corrected on this if someone has a better idea.
