Hiding after shedding

Hey everyone,

I am just a little bit worried about Snickers. He had his first shed with me last week. In the week leading up to his shed he spent all of his time in the humidity box i have for him. I figured that this was a normal occurence so I didn't think anything of it. But now he has shed but still spends all his time hiding. Has anyone else seen this happen? He is about 4 months so I was told by his breeder. Before his blue he would spend all his time curled up in the corner not in a hide or anything.

Also he seems to be fine but a little bit more jumpy. I am just worried that he may be getting sick or something?

PP,
I wouldnt worry this is very normal, and I do mean normal behavior. I have a 15 foot burmese python that goes into a hide box.

It is a young snake, young snakes hide and are jumpy at times being handled. Some snakes actually do not like it while others become calm.

I personally do not handle young ones, I wait about a year before holding them besides cage cleaning duties.

I haven't seen my grey ratsnake all week. I just pulled him out. He's fine.

Like Jim said, snakes hide. It's what they do.
