wow a purfect shed!!

my corn snakes first time shedding! 1 i never noticed, 2 he did it all while i was sleeping.... does uv lights help corn snakes? becuz at night i put in a black uv light to represent night, and so i can sleep becuz he is in my room
oh and 3 his shed was perfect. i see one huge shed, one tiny piece of to the side. he might have a little bit on him so when i see him il check him out, the weird thing is that he ate on wednesday and shed thursday night... how weird to eat during a shed

Your corn does not need a UV of any kind. UV is generally used to help with calcium development. Corns don't bask in the sun. They usually seek out warm areas like rocks or rotting vegetation to thermoregulate. You could turn that black light off at night and then replace it with a thermostat or rheostat controlled heating pad.

Some corns will eat whether in the blue or not. That varies from snake to snake.
