How many of you own wild-caught corns?

And how many of you that do caught them yourselves?

Hi Skye,
I have a w/c, but he, (I think), was more of a rescue, than a catch. He was in a really bad spot, where I had already seen "smushed" garter snakes and glass lizards. Landscapers were going at the place full tilt 'round the clock. He was just on the path in about 50° weather late at night.

My original intention, was to bring him home with me and release him. I kept him and fed him at our beach house for about a month. Once, we got home, I started to worry about the "black rat" that calls this place home,( we only have 5 acres).
I showed SneakySnake to my neighbor, to warn him, he told me, don't worry about me, look at this, then he showed me a picture of the "biggest granddaddy of all times", that apparently lives on our property line. This snake spans by over 2 feet, on each side, the guy's asphalt driveway.

I just couldn't stand him being supper, so I kept him. I love him too much.

They grow throughout their entire lives but usually slow down at 5+ years of age.

I have one that I caught when it started getting warm (end of Feb, first of March?). It was hungry and thin. I intended to keep it for a while just to feed it and get it back in shape, but it has become so tame that I really dont want to let it go.

I now own 3 WC Adult corns (1.2) and they are all from FL. They are the friendliest of snakes and I enjoy them.
