I think it's beginning scale rot....

I got some pictures. Some parts of her scales are blackened, gray and a bleached looking white color. Her belly is solid yellow with pink spots. Her scales are raw and it's obvious it hurts when you touch her.
Here are the photos--we have moved her from her tank to a new fresh tub, with printed newspaper (it's all I have!) as substrate, a hide and a water bowl, all brand new.
She looks awful. :( I'm scared. Definitely going to the vet but what do you think it is
Please help!
This one shows the white, purple and blackened spots on her scales:

More of the black:

This is the NORMAL part of her belly, the upper third:

For comparison, her lower belly:

Her red, raw tail, past the cloaca:

Some of the white splotches on her side to the left of her head:

Unhealthy looking scales on side:

If you need any more pictures I can try to get them. I don't want to disturb her. She refused to eat today and she usually ALWAYS eats. I think this is my fault. I know it is. :(
What do you think it is, and what should I do in the meantime while we wait for a vet visit? Can I put polysporin on her (I don't have neosporin)? I'm keeping her very dry right now.
What about the obviously dead parts of scale and possibly tissue underneath? Will that need to be removed ?
Thanks,
Shellie

Please, can somebody help? She's going to the vet but I just wonder what it is.

You've had several replies in your other thread. Unfortunately, I can't tell what's going on at all in your photos. I wouldn't put anything on the affected areas at this point (some ointments with petroleum gel can do more harm than good if it's a burn), just keep your snake on the newspaper with proper heating and let your vet make the diagnosis and prescribe the proper treatment. And don't worry about your snake missing a meal. I don't eat when I don't feel well either.

Sorry Susan, I forgot to check the other thread. Thank you. :(
