One small patch remains on her head after shedding

One of my snakes shed last week. It was a successful shed for the most part, but one patch wouldn't come off and it's right on the top of her head, so she won't let me get near it to help her. I can handle her all day, but she does not like it when I get close to her head. (Her eye caps did come off.) So I put her in a 10 gallon tank w/ wet t-shirts and let her slither around for a while. I mist her cage, etc. But it's been a week and she still has that little patch of old skin on her head. Is this harmful to her in any way or should I just leave it be? Thanks.

I would leave it for now. You don't have to continue to stress you and the snake out. As long as the eye caps and tail end came off that little bit of skin should come off with the next shed. Just watch and make sure that it does.

But a little trick that works for me every time. Is take a wet dish towel in your hand and have you snake slither threw. I have never had skin resist that even on the head.
