Mites?

Okay so there are probably like 500 other posts asking about mites but I'm going to ask. So I went to check on Hercules ( picture below)http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1071&pictureid=7935

Just putting the picture up so you know his size and what he looks like.

Anyway, I was checking on him because I needed to do a water change. He is also in his last stage of shedding so I wanted to make sure everything was going smoothly. As I picked him up I saw a little grayish/blackish thing crawling on him. Obviously it was a mite, I took it off. Then I cleaned his home, I am using paper towel as bedding, and threw away his paper towel hide and gave him a new one. I also gave him a bath for about 15-20 minutes. Wasn't a long time, but I figured it was enough for him. Then I used a paper towel to dry him and nothing showed up. I also checked the other snakes, they are all separated but I was a little paranoid. Everyone else was clean, but I still cleaned them and their cages. Later on I am going to get the reptile relief, even though everyone else was clean should I still treat them too? Am I being paranoid? Thanks.

Look under the snakes chin between the fold of scales... Mites like to hide....
Depending on temps, mites are on a 30 odd day turn around... They cannot breed until the last stage of development...
The can move over 50 feet in an hour...
If you found one mite you are in the beginning stages of an infestation, unless you tackle it now...
I would suggest getting P-A-M, but be careful and follow the instructions...
If you can get an import, go for Callingtons...
