holding mouth open

ok so I just got a new snake and he is always just hanging out with his mouth open...really weird...pic are of him hiding and coming out he is not hissing or striking just chillin like that all the time...even when he's movin (see pics) about the only time he doesn't do that is when your holding him..advise please

Has he been to the vet? Any type of discharge (saliva looking mucus) in his mouth or nose? Do you hear a popping noise?
The first thing that comes to mind is a possible Resp. Infection.
I would get him to a vet as soon as possible.

no vet yet just got him Tuesday, i don't see or hear anything you mentioned...it will be interesting to find a vet that does snakes where I live, but I'll look. He otherwise behaves nicely like to socialize and is drinking and active...

Hmm, I'm not sure what the problem is, but I am sure that its not normal. Your should take the snake to a vet.
You said you got the snake on tuesday? Did you get him this way? Who sold the snake to you?
