They should be fed once they have had their first shed.
Some will take it before their shed, but then most breeders would feed them a day or two after they have shed.

Ive heard your suppose to feed the new babies at around 3-4 days after they hatch... you dont have to feed them right when they come out of their shells because they still have some food in their stomachs from their shells...
