can the bedding absorb moisture from the tank? I cant seem to get one cage to hold its humidity no matter what. My bloodred(who is now missing, actually) was having shed problems. I cant figur it out.

have you tried misting the tank with water?
what type of substrate are you using?

You can also add a damp hide for them to go in when it's getting time to shed. I keep a wet paper towel in the viv, and she crawls under it to stay moist. I also mist her hider log. The bark on it really holds the moisture for a while.

I use aspen, no I didnt mist it, but I will. I will try a moist hide too. Thanks!
