Lately my corn (Edger) has been swimming around in his water alot. I was just wondering if it was because its too hot in his cage and he just needs to cool off. thanks... now that i think of it... maybe he just lies swimming. Well thanks for any input.

I have read that they do that when they have mites. You might want to check him over and make sure that isn't the problem. I t could be the heat, what is the temp. in the cage? Also when did he shed last? Maybe he's just getting ready for that.
:D Or it could be that he likes it!!! We let ours swim in the tub every other day and she loves it!! Maybe more experienced members can offer you more advice.

He doesn't have mites and he shed recently. the cage temp is 84 in the warm and 78 is the cool.
Well the temps sound about right. I think it's just that he likes to swim around. That's just the opposite of my baby..he HATES water. Except to drink, and when he does, it's only because he has to. :)
