Before I start griping, I just wanted to thank you, Rich, for putting up this awesome new BBS software. It's really more like the feel of a BBS than a forum, which is certainly a good thing. :)

Anyway, it's really annoying trying to read something while huge red text is scrolling across the screen yelling, "LOOK AT ME!!! LOOOKKK AAAATTTT MEEEEEEEEE!!!!"

Is there a way to turn off certain HTML such as marquee text? I really hope popups, huge images, and midi music don't become a common part of peoples' signatures... blegh. ;)

TIA :)

As you can see in your signature box. The diabling of HTML in the signature box is not selective. The only other choice would be for me to chase down every person abusing this section and delete the offending code, but that would be very labor intensive.

Do the gains outweigh the losses?

Ahhh, Serp brings up an excellent point. I thought I was the only that was annoyed by large RED scrolling letters screaming "I need attention".

Disable it if you must Rich...

PS - If you need a forum moderator... Im sure you know where to look. :)
