Charred Tail

lumene

rebuilding my life
I'm posting this here because I've dropped off most of the other forums. You all don't hate on me like the rest, please don't start now.

A rescue (the Toblerones and King pair) that I took in escaped Saturday or Sunday has been found.
I am 90% sure he is going to lose an inch or more of is tail as it looks badly burned.

I am pretty much on my own in terms of vet care, the closest Decent reptile vet is a ferry ride away in Vancouver, which I will make if there is nothing I and others can do here on the island.

I have everything to keep him in a quarantined and sterile environment and poly/neosporin, but I am wondering what kind of antibiotics I can get from the vet to give him?

Thanks all, as usual.
Sorry to be saddling you with my problems.

I'll get you pics when the boyfriend come home. In the meantime, I am giving him paper towel and polysporin...

Well, there is not much you could do, vet or not. If he is a he indeed, you will probably have to keep him as a pet only. He might lose parts of his hemipenes, and that is what I would be concerned with.

AliCat- I didn't plan on breeding him, I'm sad about his tail though, it was a beautiful tail.
