I'd say something has slightly punctured the skin underneath the scales or bruised it, maybe some bedding, I would not worry about it at the moment. You might want to put some desinfectant if you have it available, just to be sure but most probably it will just dry and dissapear with the next shed or before that. Keep an eye on it. If it starts spreading/ swelling/bleeding you need to go see a vet to prevent it from developing into something bad, but I do not expect that.

Chlorahexadine: An alternative to bleach for sterilizing enclosures, and does not create fumes like bleach does, so it is safe to re-introduce your REPTILE pets to their enclosure right away, thus speeding up cleaning time. Http://www.reptilebasics.com , click on "cleaning products". I do not know if it is safe for Amphibians.

I believe that chlorahex is safe for amphibians too, I think that is what we use to disinfect the amphibs at the zoo. We just rinse it off several times with frog water (water that has been left out for 48 hours to evaporate). Then we let it dry completely on its own without wiping it down.

I did not mean you have to disinfect the cage, just put some antibitoics or disinfectant cream on the spots.

I have no idea since over here there are no antibiotic creams available over the counter.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorhexidine

It is usuable for skin, but I'm sure you need to use the right dilution, so you better get a package that is meant to be used on skin.

I am not sure I would put that directly on your snake. I would put the snake on paper towels. If you feel that the area needs something you could put neosporin without the pain killer. I have also used just single biotic ointment on my bearded dragon per the vet. Personally, I don't think that the area is big enough to worry too much. But putting him on paper towels will help keep dust from the aspen irritating it while it heals.
