As I have a new corn snake and went to the dentist yesterday, I thought of a question about corn snake teeth that I thought someone could answer.

As I understand things, they have six rows of pointed, angled teeth used for gripping prey while the jaws walk over food. At some point in the course of normal events, teeth must get ripped out or worn. do corns regrow teeth like sharks and some other reptiles?

thank goodness that they don't chew because you know that someone would try to floss them. :dgrin:
 
I think they shed their teeth once in a while.. but I am not 100% sure o.o
