Probe issues

So I moved my corn into his tub, got him some new hides, good bedding and I have it all set, I put the probe inside the tub under the bedding by the uth and when I wake up the next morning he's moved it so it didn't regulate it properly and hit 90-92 and that's just when I fixed it who knows how hot it got. I was wondering if any of you had tricks to keep the probe in place?

Silicone or hot melt glue it where it needs to be.

You can tape the probe cord to the bottom of the tub. Maybe use electrical tape so it'll come off easier when you go to clean the tub.

Blu-Tak or equivalent. Dries out after a while and needs replacing occasionally, but never sticks to the snake and can be removed whenever you need to.

Please don't ever use any kind of tape inside the tank. The heat will lift it and it will end up stuck to the snake. They can twist themselves in knots trying to free themselves and you risk taking scales off as you're trying to remove it.

You have to have been there to know how scary it can be! My ex set a tape trap to catch an escapee (albeit not a Corn) and when he found it, it was pretty much rolled up in a ball. It took two days of work with cotton wool buds/vegetable oil and a trip to the vet to clear the tape off completely. Lost a few scales in the process and it took the snake a month to start eating again :(
