Odd Scale

Here's a picture of my Aztec's head. She has an odd spot on the top and I wonder if it's something I should be concerned about or if I should wait until her next shed to see if it goes away. It's right in front of the arrow marking on her head. She seems to be fine otherwise aside from being totally schizoid

I've seen corns damage their head scales much like that when they've jammed their head into a crevice that is almost, but not quite big enough to escape through. So, I would suggest making sure that your vivarium is as tight as you believe it to be. The scale should heal over time, but it may take a few more sheds.

Thanks for the comments. She might have done it squeezing between her cave and the side of her viv, or something like that. The viv was used by my amel before she got bigger, so I'm sure the lid is quite secure. She's a burrower so she very well could have scraped it on something while squeezing under the paper towel on the bottom. I'll keep an eye on it.
