bad shed

Rapunzel had her first bad shed tonight but I'm really confused. I saw one small piece in her cage and then a few small parts still clung to her so I had her run twice through the warm washrag to get the rest off but I'm not seeing almost 90% of the shed is it possible she still hasn't shed the majority of it off or will a snake eat their shed like a gecko? Just a little lost because it is not anywhere in her viv.

Yhey don't eat their shed.
Try getting some sphagnum moss (not peat moss) moist, but then squeezing it out well, putting it in a plastic box without a lid, and letting the snake burrow down into it. That usually lets the old skin get moist enough to come off.

yeah I went ahead and let her soak some to help so hopefully the rest will come off shortly. I'll have to make a humid hide for her once I can get to the store to get the sphagnum since it's so late now though.

After her soak I found the rest of her shed in the viv this morning so she shed the rest of it just fine.
